Peggie Russell

Peggie Russell, EdD, EBC is a lifelong scholar-practitioner. She is a graduate from the Doctor of Education at Fielding Graduate University. Peggie has a unique and diverse background. Over the last 30 years, she has worked as an educator for 26 years, mentor, health and wellness coach, instructional coordinator, keys to literacy facilitator, principal for 11 years, columnist, and media producer.

Her doctoral dissertation was titled Heart Wisdom in Higher Education: Student Perspectives on How Universities Cultivate Compassion, Respect, and Empathy. In addition to graduating with her Doctor of Education, she has a graduate certificate in Evidence-Based Coaching from Fielding Graduate University’s School of Leadership Studies. After graduating, Peggie partnered with Crosspoint Mental Health Therapy to use the power of positivity to empower people to live their best lives. Russell practices mindfulness and meditation daily to cultivate presence. She is enthusiastic about leading and inspiring “Heart Wisdom” with compassion, respect, and empathy. She chooses to live a holistic, positive, and grateful lifestyle to cultivate mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
